Experience Flyover
At its core, Flyover features an amusement ride employing chairlift-style seats that lift guests up in the air. For safety reasons, in order to board the experience, guests using wheelchairs must be able to transfer to their seat by themselves or with the assistance of a companion.
Guests who are unable to transfer from their wheelchairs may still enjoy the complete Flyover experience. We invite them to view the media of the experience from their wheelchair on a stationary platform.
In such circumstances, the guest will be accompanied by one of our team members on the platform for the duration of experience. For safety reasons, companions are unable to stay on this platform. Companions may choose to wait in a specially designated area, or to experience Flyover in a seat next to the wheelchair viewing area.
PLEASE NOTE: If a paying guest requests assistance from a companion, the companion’s ticket is provided free of charge.
Parent swap
If a child is too small to ride, the entire group will split up into two groups. The first group will experience Flyover and the second group will stay with the child and receive a new ticket time. When the first group exits, the second group will present the ticket time and admissions to the scanner team. While the second group is on the experience, the first group will watch the child. This way, the child will be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Flyover appropriate for all ages?
Yes! Some of our most enthusiastic fans are seniors and young children. Children must be at least 40″ tall in order to ride.
I am pregnant. May I experience Flyover?
Industry guidelines advise that pregnant women should not participate in motion rides. Although Flyover is a very gentle motion ride, we follow the industry guidelines and ask expectant mothers to refrain from taking part.
I use a wheelchair to get around. Can I experience Flyover?
Yes! Please note that Flyover is an amusement ride involving motion. Our guests who use wheelchairs may take part only if they are able to transfer from their wheelchair to their seat by themselves or with the assistance of a companion. Otherwise, they may enjoy the experience from a stationary position on the platform, accompanied by one of our team members. For safety reasons, in this situation, companions must take part in the experience or wait off the platform. We ask that guests who will be arriving in wheelchairs please contact us in advance of their visit. There is no admission fee for a companion who is accompanying a paying guest using a wheelchair.
I have difficulty standing for long periods or climbing stairs. Can I experience Flyover?
The Flyover experience requires standing for between 20 and 30 minutes, as well as ascending and descending stairs. If you anticipate difficulty standing for 30 minutes, please advise one of our team members upon arriving at the attraction. They will accommodate you to the best of their ability, by providing a folding chair at certain points and minimizing the number of stairs you will have to climb. The entire experience is accessible via elevator as well.
